On September 28, 2009, around fifty Columbus High School students participated in the Latino Summit.  The conference center in La Vista, Nebraska was filled with more than 1,000 high school students. This was sponsored by the Nebraska Department of Education and the Mexican-American Commission. It was called "Dare to Dream--La Raza Cósmica"--with keynote speaker Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch. We were motivated, inspired and challenged by Consuelo's amazing gift to touch the hearts of those who hear her speak.  It was an awesome day!
